I saw the new blue color also. Nice but very pricey. Too bad it's not safe for us to go dig for the nice flourite like this in Mexico anymore. The colors are so deep & rich.compared to most. Now I'm going to turn on the black light to watch mine glow :))
It is & the mexican flourite glows the best. Now I want to go south of the border & get a bunch more!!! However it would be more practical to bid on this :)
I guess that stuff from England, the Rogerly mine flouresces well too. Alas, also expensive. How about Cave-in the-rock Illinois - for the price it must be killer.
I have been to Cave in the rock several times. Much lighter color & doesn't stay bright long. Prices at the cave are better which is why I got a bunch of it..lol..Going to check out the Rogerly mine. Is England considered a gem/mineral rich area?
The Rogerly fluorite is stunning but $600.00 for 72grams is a little out of my budget..lol..However I did stumble across a place in Ohio that fluoresces very nice too & it is only 9 hrs away form me...Road Trip!! Last time I was at Cave of Rocks I bought a 1/2 pound of raw for $30.00. but you can dig yourself for pretty cheap. My sister lived in Peoria for a few years and we'd go there for something to do. Ty for your info :)
