Awesome estate sale collection very old statue, picture, jewelry box winner chooses one Gin gets all 3. The statue of the Asian man even has holes in his ears for earrings measures about 2 inches tall and is very old. The frame is lovely mosaic 7 inches tall unique picture. The box is also mosaic with mother of pearl mop great ring box 5 inches wide. This would look great on any altar. Pick one or get them all;) thanks for looking!!

Questions & Comments

If the figure of the old man depicted is a snuff (powdered tobacco holder) box, as darnt0522 said, he will have a removable top and one or two loops so he can be tied. They are still making snuff boxes today as cheap imports, but if you suspect this coild be an old, rare piece, you might consider having it appraised and sold at auction for real money.

I could afford to bid now but this is going to go for huge credits in 11 days and I will never have the kind of credits that will win this beautiful box! But thank you, if I sell something really big I might be able to get in the running, lol

Great additional pics. The old guy isn't a snuff box as someone thought. He'd have a removable cap and the cap would have a little spoon attached. He also wouldn't have a hole on the bottom. :) He's a lovely statue though, and the holes in his ears are worth researching to discover his true purpose. Best of luck to you!

If I were to win this, I don't know if I could choose. Each item is so special. What kind of hinge is on the box? What do you know about the frame i.e. is it old, what is it made out of, etc.? F,W, & B.
