They should at least remove the "REWARDS" part of it been is just a regular auction now. Is our fault too for bidding on their stuff. I will only bid on other members from now on. Do your part.

I really hope Listia Goes to the Bidding system... This Shouldn't be Called the REWARDS STORE !!! If you are just putting things up for Bidding the REWARDS STORE should be shut down and I will Stop using Lisitia as well. This is SAD!!

I purchased this same set from the reward store when it was not an auction. The GIN was 79,000 credits. If you bid more than that you are being ripped off. If this does not change in the next few days I will spend the credits I have and close my account!!!! NOT HAPPY!!!!!

Hey you guys, if i recall, Listia has never checked or responded to any comments on their listings, so all of these comments will go unseen by any Listia staff. While i agree that this change is somewhat drastic & unfair to all of us hard working Listians, this is not the place to make your statements. Go to the Blog, & give them a piece of your mind. At least there Your comments will be heard

It's not a store anymore if you can't buy it. How is it rewards? Paying like 4 times the amount it's worth is not a reward!

A lot of intelligent members on here like honkie - bid it up with 5 days left because they want to spend as many credits as possible

Extremely disappointed that the rewards store is now a bidding war... I used to love being able to shop with the GIN feature, at a great price, and being able to get it quickly. Now i have to wait until the auction enda and THEN wait for them to ship too? This sucks... I got my kids A LOT of things for Christmas out of the rewards store the past couple years... I guess I will take my auctions back to eBay....

Listia is not going to respond on here, everyone needs to complain by filling out a support ticket on the help page, maybe if enough people do this it will change!

And there goes the value of credits. you are creating inflation by doing this. Devaluing your own digital currency. =(

Is it just me or has anyone else notice they have had the same stuff on the rewars page since last summer. They finally get new stuff and make us bid on it. Im quitting Listia after i finish my 100 auctions i have up sell and i spend all my credits. This is a total rip off.

I really don't understand why Listia would NEED outrageously high credits on anything they sell. THEY CAN CREATE CREDITS OUT OF THIN AIR. So, why penalize us? Jacking up prices in the Rewards Store does NO GOOD to Listia. How about selling this item for 85,000 GIN and make up the shortfall you need by CREATING CREDITS OUT OF THIN AIR???????????????

It's a free market, I hate the fact that under a year ago 1000 credits was basically $1.00, now it's 50c or less, but it's all economics and supply and demand. As long as there's no hacking and creation of credits from thin air, it is what it is. See Wiki article on Lista and there's a section on inflation and that the rewards store fights it by taking credits out of circulation vs just bouncing around between members.

Ive been doing this since 2010 and the inflation on here is plain STUPID!!!! Greed. Even among members. WE all let this happen by bidding on the stuff. Credits ARE a form of money. I know I have spent a PRETTY penny to put nice things on here, the credits Ive received in turn, I BOUGHT things with. Now everything's so high, doesn't make sense! That Hamilton Beach 22 Qt Roaster oven, I spent 66,800 on in the 'rewards store' the next week...WHOA! It was jacked way up. Funny thing, Walmart now sells them for $49 I agree with you all about not jacking up these auctions on the 5th day. Thats just ignorance. If anyone want to just waste credits, I'll list something and you can bid that up for me. The only way I will BID to win anything out of this AUCTION page, is if I decide to close my account. In the meanwhile, I agree with those who have mentioned doing this bi***&&g where they might actually read it. I wish us all luck!

They just killed this site. For the love of God people stop bidding. Even though I have noticed most high bidders are listia employees. Moderator s etc.

Wow, some people are just not happy unless they are complaining about something!!

Get over it!! So it’s no longer a “store”, it’s an open auction.
Save your credits. List something GOOD to earn more credits!

❤❤listia gives their reason here for the change, pretty much saying they got a lot of complaints about the reward store staying empty & it cost them too much money to keep it stocked. ---->http://blog.listia.com/2015/02/25/rewards-store-updates/ ❤❤
