the rewards store now will be a joke things on here will go so high i will never have a chance to get a thing i will never have the credits...
Listia wins we lose, they already charge us enough to list stuff and to put GIN on our stuff and now this... what has happend is others have now found this site and are abusing it by only buying things from the rewards store. An it has now cost us loyal and long standing listia folk our fun GIN rewards store.. Sad really. This will keep happening now, things on listia will keep getting worse or harder to deal with,

I agree, more of us need to voice that we dislike it so they do something about it! This is ridiculous

Why are we bidding on rewards?? where is the get now?

FYI guys, this item used to sell for about 40,000 credits in the rewards store a few months back. Seeing all these high bids right away makes me sad :-( i used to get the best items from the rewards store for between 20,000-30,000 credits about 6 months ago. Such a bummer whats happening now

Why not put monthly rewards store limits. Maybe 1 per month or week per user. That would be better then this.

I totally agree. I was one who complained that the Reward Store was always empty. Like all growing companies, they MUST hire more staff and expand with the business. IMO they needed to dedicate an internal dept to be "dedicated to rewards store".... kind of like running a multi million player game without upgrading the servers. Apparently Listia thinks they can continue running this auction with a hand full of employees.
At Xmas I got my Son some headphones for 78,000 credits. My daughter decided she wanted some too. The very next time they were available in the reward store was 148,000 credits.
No disrespect to all of the wonderful friends I have made on Listia, but it is time to pull out. Greed has killed many similar online business'.. If you
Google Listia you will see that I am not alone.
P.s. How costly could it be to expand the Reward Store?

I'm very sad and disappointed in how the reward store has become :( poor Listians we won't be able to get anything on here I'm so unhappy with this.
They need to realize that we work really hard to get some credits and this is really ridiculous and unfair..

This pool sells for $58.00 in the store I can get a summer pass to the water park for $30.

After reading the blog post I kinda understand why they changed from GIN to auction. I will say that besides gift cards (which are auction) I was never able to get anything from the rewards store since things were bought up quickly. I kinda like the change to be honest. The gift cards always go for reasonable amounts and there is always an open auction for one. I am thinking it will be the same here now.

I think there was many abusing the system. I for one was trying 5 days straight to gin some luggage. The same woman won 18 pieces (that I took note of) of luggage in 5 days.. a bit much I thought?

why dont you people look at their post on facebook and hit their link explaining everything and complain to them on facebook and get to the source of the problem?

Kearstonmiles, now theres an idea. That makes so much more sense. Wish listia had thought of it sheesh!! Please go to their blog & let them hear your thoughts. Listia really could have come up with a much better plan. Your idea is 1000 times smarter. At least that way we could have made our own decisions, now whoever has the most credits..wins!! And the winner of every auction could potentially be the same person.

Listia is not going to respond on here, everyone needs to complain by filling out a support ticket on the help page, maybe if enough people do this it will change!

Listia has changed for the worst way now it's time for me to use up my credits and leave this site for good.

you people need to view the picture and look how the people are sitting on their knees to see how SMALL this pool really is. Last year I bought 3 different pools from them and only used one but it was a great pool.

Maybe they are in financial trouble. I have noticed that other sites that are similar in part to this one, have shut down. Maybe they are grasping at straws to stay afloat. We just don't know what's going on. They couldn't tell us if they were..it would cause people to leave in droves, wouldn't it? Personally, I wouldn't care if they did completely away with the Rewards Store and go back to the way it used to be. No more Amazon gift cards to fight over. It would certainly give a boost to our auctions. as much as I dislike the new Reward Store auctions, I would hate to see them go belly up completely. Listia is still a great concept. Just something to think about. People are always quick to find fault..I am including myself, but what if is just a matter of a company trying to stay in business? There is a lot of tough competition out there. Maybe if there was some communication we could help. Communication is the key to every successful relationship. This listia site has helped a lot of people, by making it possible to afford things that they couldn't buy with cash. I have benefitted, most of us have. I'm going to wait and see what happens for awhile, it might turn out ok.

If they take away their gift cards it would change everything. But greed will never allow that.
