If you have straight talk in your area you can Bypass using the AT&T for 60 days and buy a Certain SIM card straight talk offers and it will work , it turns it into a prepaid phone.. Ive done this with a few at&t phones..

If you have straight talk in your area you probly know what i am talking about.. But Straight talk offers 3 or 4 types of sim cards from other cell phone networks they work with.. But AT&T is the only one you can take a phone from at&t locked or not and use it on straight talk with their Sim card..
