We have all the power here not them. Just don't bid. That will show them how we feel about the so called rewards store. And unfan Listia!! Keep the bids low and they will have no choice but to send the times for next to nothing. Every thousand credits is equal to 50 cents people!

Yup keep the bids low so somebody can get it cheap
Wanna make a statement, quit using the site period
When you still use the site, the ads still get hits and they will continue to rack it in
Take some of this negative energy and focus it to something real, not getting stuff

Some people must have more credits than brains. I have a ton of credits because I REFUSE to give my hard earned credits like that. A 200 dollar item is going for 450 dollars approx. I guess if this is the only way you will ever be able to get one because you do not have the financial means to do so but still 250 dollars more than the cost is absurd.

This is so TRUE!!!
EvenTrade Listia says:

If idiots who couldn’t pass a 4th grade math class if their life depended on it pay the ridiculous prices, why WOULDN’T they sell them for such high GIN’s? Supply and demand. Blame the idiots who pay such high amounts, not the seller.

Listia is accomplishing two things: 1) They have to list much fewer items now and 2) the store always looks full. This saves them money and creates a professional appearance. It is a lie that this makes it fair. Sure, more people can bid, but now it is even MORE likely the people with massive amounts of credits will get the item. I no longer have to troll the rewards store hoping to see an item before it is snagged up, I can just wait until 10 seconds from the auction finish and buy whatever I want. The people that think this is better because now they get to bid with no real chance of actually winning are kind of silly.

I was enjoying listia until they did this with the reward store. Now no reason for me to list any of my stuff. So sad.

the sale price on this item is roughly $188.00 --the bid is presently at 450,000 credits.---listia sells 41,000 credits for $40.00--this is a no brainer

Think I'm just gonna dump my credits on some stuff and call it quits with listia, it's going downhill fast, back when I joined years ago I couldn't stay away for more than an hour or two, I rarely ever list anymore, and this is the case with most people now

WTF? I've just notice this big change, haven't checked it in a while. This is crazy, and wrong! When I post in wrong category Listia jumps on my a$$ and threatened to remove my ad but now they can do whatever they want? Wow, not only is it wrong these things are getting more and more expensive! Better off spending the money and buying the stuff outright on other sites....

What lista is doing is not fair!!!! I started with this sit because I'm a mom of 5 and could use all the help I could get. To get things for my kids. I could even get my self something every now and then. Just wish thy go back. I no every thing I have got off this site a bit more $ then going in to a store and getting it from lists was at lest fun. Lista please take note the higher the thing you put up go for the higher the people try to post there things for. The point of this site I thought was to help people. I just don't get y you would want to change something that was so good to make it bad. :(

hi rastgurtz1-my thoughts exactly.possibly, get an average gin from several auctions.

Ok I has a thought. Maybe they are going to use the auctions to set prices for future items??

My previous comment goes for the high bids on items also! Well, maybe one day Listia will figure out a way to keep both sides happy. That would take a miracle!

I'm not a Listia defender but I believe this rewards store helps prevent more fake users or fake auctions in general. Maybe that's what caused prices to spike. So with my trusted feedback, I could list a high price item, get the credits, GIN something of high value, not send the item and I got what I wanted without sending anything.
