My son passed away last year, Sunday will be a year. Will smudging help to calm the atmosphere and center someone's chakras? I had a medium tell me that the reason I don't dream of him is because of my chakras being out of alignment and there being a sense of chaos (she didn't use that exact word but it was something along those lines). Smudging is practiced by many cultures and religions, often as incense use. Many users do not associate with religion.
