Hello everybody. I decided to give this book up for listia. I thought about selling it on ebay but i want to give it to someone on listia instead. This book is extremely rare values between 120.00 to 200.00 in this condition.

When i got this graded i look at the book close thought i would score a 9.6-9.8. I was mad when i got a 9.2. It was a personal copy from my collection. I thought selling it on ebay. But ebay is alot of stress between bad buyer trying to scam you and shaded dealer i do not know what is worst. Anyway i got to catch myself before this rant start lol. With listia i know two things for sure it will go to a collector and no stress. So that make me happy. Good luck with your bid.

Totally awesome auction! i'm sure you'l get 10-20,000 credits for this one, way out of my league but im watching it anyways! Incredible really, reprints are even getting scarce! I bought a toy at Toys R Us only because it had a reprint of this comic in it!

A book that alot of people do not know about is. Amazing spiderman 258 in this book is the first discovery of the symbiote it's under value in the price guide. But this is a book that will go up in price soon also.

With this site i have won of item for less credits then they were worth. For new users try selling your items if you don't have money for shipping ask for it in your auction. Or listia has offers to earn credit just click on that logo up top "Get Credit" they have surveys and different offers for credits. At the beginning i did alot of surveys for credits it's works but it's take time.

I was bidding on it, and it already creeped over the credits that I got for the stan lee autographed comic that you mentioned earlier in the auction! It's good to see that are collector on listia. Hopefully the comic community grows as a whole on listia. With hollywood running a muk making almost every marvel book being made into a movie maybe it will bring some new readers to the stores. With each generation i've notice less kids reading the books. I believe that the companies are trying to address this problem with the rating system and disney did buy marvel maybe this will change. Dc comics is owned by warner bros. They can adjust easy look at how good the justice league cartoon and batman was. Any age group can watch that.

But for me this is more of a giveaway on this comic. If i list it with a gin i would ask 60k in credits lol. But again this if i went by the value of the book. Instead i decided the let it go for whatever it go for. I was hoping that listia made this a featured auction i made a request with no luck. So it will not get the expose it need to get it over the hump. But that is ok again i want someone to get this and hold on to it. I will find another one at next year comic con. I will end up paying more but maybe i will get lucky and find a deal on the last day when the dealers are looking to take nothing home lol.

WOW! What wonderfull raves you got on here Dave. Even though I am not a comic collector, I can appreciate where you are coming from. You are quite a guy to let something like this go like that. I can see how the people are really excited over it and it is a shame that Listia didn't make it a featured auction. They certainly should have. Thank you for your comment. For me i read comics the add value a book is worth is a bonus. I been a avid reader since i was 9. Marvel and D.C went i got old i started looking at the value of books. My first big book i got was xmen 10 1st juggernaut in bad condition but still worth money. That was the beginning for me looking for key books. Cost me a pretty pennies over the years.

Thanks russ. I will try more in the future it's hard to part with books sometimes. You will laugh im chasing to make a set of simpsons comics. None of the simpsons books are heavy in price. But they are hard to find most stores stock 2 copies to sell out and earlier numbers are scarce. They are a good read always funny.

I agree the rules that the site have it protect the buyer and seller. I believe because cash is not use and credits are this changes the way things are done. Most of the member are great a few bad apples here and there but listia took care of me quick. So im happy.

Im happy with it so far it's good to see that people know a good book when they see one. For me this is more or less a test run im sitting on alot of good books i want to list. I was taking a chance listing this one i've notice that they are alot of book on listia but not alot of good ones. When i first join this site i didn't know what to make of it. At first i was trying to label it in my mind. But then auction after auction i saw seller giving great items. One lady listed a xbox 360 with 2 games in the box brand new. No gin she told it for whatever it sold for. Then i met others giving great comic sign by stan lee. Again and again users are making listia great. I thought at first it was a second hand site, or yardsale site but it's not. There are alot great people here doing great things. Almost make it easy to give up items for this site. So no manner what i get im happy. I just hope whoever wins this will be happy too.
