This Stuff is Free Too:
I got this bag on Listia almost a year ago and I LOVE it. The problem is, I've never once used it. It's a little small for me and of course, I didn't realize that until it arrived at my doorstep. I still figured maybe I'd use it but we're getting ready to move and it's still as untouched at it was the day it got here. My loss... your gain. This bag is in perfect condition as far as I can tell. It's been stored for a year and there's no damage to it. The Listia member I won it from did mention one modification she made to the bag and it really is for the better. The chain link pieces on the handle were never soldered together and she had her husband do that for her so she wouldn't lose this amazing bag. You can see the original listing here: http://www.listia.com/auction/1036704-juicy-handbag-purse-bl ack-leather. Since I messed up and packed my camera early, I had to steal a picture from the original auction but there's many more listed there.
The dimensions on this bag are: from the top of the strap to the bottom of the bag 14" the bag only is 8" and it is 13" wide. It's got beautiful accent pieces on it with the Juicy Couture Crowns and amazingly soft leather that's beautifully stitched. I'd really love this bag to find a good home and get some use. The inside is a soft pink that's pretty well used by Juicy.
I may be inclined to throw a few Health and Beauty type surprises in too. Think Body Splash, Shaving Cream, Deodorant, maybe a cosmetic item or two, possibly a bar or two of handmade (by me) soap, whatever else I find that I don't feel like packing to move. Also, I'm thinking if the bids go over... let's say 10,000 I'll throw in a very cute Kenneth Cole Black Patent Leather wallet too.
I'm thinking this is going in a Flat Rate Box of some sort and I simply HATE not filling every last inch of those and letting the Post Office get free money out of me.
Questions & Comments
We need to see pictures of the bag as it is TODAY so bidders know what to expect.
In fact, the seller even describes a flaw that you didn't photograph.
Additionally, although you claim not to have used the bag, it was purchased as used so it's possible/probable that the condition may have changed.
Please post clear pictures of the front, back, bottom, hardware with any logo markings, magnetic closures, interior pink label (including the inside white tag), and ANY AND ALL DAMAGE, dings, scuffs, stains, broken hardware, etc.
It's a lot easier to post those pictures before buyers bid and win than it is to fight a dispute after they receive a bag with undisclosed damage.
Also, as a seller, you need to authenticate items before listing. "Thinking" it's authentic isn't good enough. Sellers have to know their items are real or they can't be listed at all.
Again, please post the pictures requested.
It might be different had you just purchased the bag and found that it didn't work for you. But 9 months have passed and we have no way of knowing that the pictures depict the bag in the same condition.
It's especially important that clear and detailed pictures be shown, especially when it's a used item because "condition" is so subjective. Your idea of "good" condition could be someone else's "excellent" or another person's "poor."
Bidders should see and get to decide whether the condition is something they can live with.
And although I don't see any red flags, you state that you aren't 100% sure that the bag is authentic so I requested pictures of the parts that would help determine authenticity.
My only reason for being here is to protect buyers from wasting their credits on fakes or item that aren't accurately described and to protect sellers from false allegations and accusations of fakes when they have authentic items.
If some of you have seen my comments on authentic listings where buyers accused the seller of selling a fake, you would know that I had those sellers' back.
Look on any website where highly faked brands are sold and you'll see that sellers with multiple clear and definitive pictures sell their items for considerably more than sellers who only show one picture.
Additionally, when buyers see lots of pictures of every angle of the item, they know what to expect and are less apt to file a dispute.
