The listing, DELFT BLUE FLORAL BRICK has ended.

delft blue floral brick made in portugal , this was made in 1992 , i have been told that they are rare this is what is on the bottom , (C)1992 MMA-AMB , i have been told that they are hand done i have to of them that are alike this is just for one of them ,they are 5in long 2in tall and 2 in thick , very pretty delft blue flowers , there are no cracks or chips , the MMA means metropolitan museum of art , thanks for looking if you have any questions feel free to ask ,,

earlinda5752 I was going to comment that your "brick" is most likely called a "frog" as it has the holes in the top. I've seen many older items in a variety of shapes that have the holes in the top and they were indeed used to aid in arranging flowers. http://www.fleamarketgardening.org/2014/02/15/flea-market-flower-frogs/ I wish it fit with my decor as I'd love to find one for my paintbrushes.

yes i have heard they are refered as frogs , didnt know if i should put that in there , because i figured noone would know about them as frogs either lol

those are holes , they are hand made from what i understand you put fresh flowers in it or you can put silk ones , if you look them up on ebay they have more info on them there , i bought them not knowing what they were at a garage sale several years ago , i used it to keep my paint brushes in ,then someone on here a few days ago told me what they were , so i looked them up

yes i had NO IDEA just what they were , till i put a post on here asking if anyone knew , i was useing them for my paint brushs as a holder , then someone that knows about antiques sent me an e mail telling me what they were and to look them up on ebay so i did ,i got them at a garage sale several years ago , i think the kids had no idea what their parent had and were just selling it all ,

yes and by the time she is my age could be worth a whole lot we can hope , that just what i am going to do , already gave them my marble collection , from the 20,s and 30,s this will be some they can hang on to , can always sell it after im gone ,,loll

I have had a bunch of my fb friends have joined just thru my listing auctions. I would send out the invitations and most joined unfortunately they did not look and see that if they used my invite they would get more credits and give me a few...I told them like "Hey! Why did you not come thru the email I sent and they would just go uhhhhhhh sorry!" LoL!

I love this for the idea of my paint brushes however I have soooo many I would need at least 10 of these frogs LoL! My husband goes shopping for me at lunch because I don't leave the house but he would buy the brand and size I would ask, however if the store had 20 or 50 of that brand he would buy one of each...I have more paintbrushes than I have teeth LoL!!!
