Its sim card reader that does Not work!! It does not read it. No not unlocked. T-Mobile. Works WiFi, take pictures get app. Etc.

Do you know if this is locked to T-Mobile? Or can any carrier that uses a sim be used once the sim reader is fixed?

T-mobile was carrier....you need get unlocked once fix to be used any other carrier that uses sim card.

All the bills been paid so I could get it unlocked. I'm going to see what they charge to fix it. I'll be watching until the end. Yes my husbands upgraded just need that fix my husband because this one was not reading sim so he gave to me...but since Lg I'm use it. Why keep it. Meantime can use it WiFi take pic etc.

No. It works for WIFI so you can use it anywhere their is WiFi... use camera take pictures get app. .but If you fix sim card reader then you have to get it unlocked if you don't have T-Mobile to use it as phone.
