try booting up in safe mode and then go in to users and create a new administrator
then delete old users who forgot their passwords...lol

I had one w/ xp( we buy to re-sale) I had to boot-up in safe mode I went around the pass word, turned guest on and created new administrator.Then deleted the old administrator (which was password protect __access this from computer C:\start menu/my computer/ (open the users directory and choose the one that's pw protected.DEL it.This leaves other users only w/o a password.Now reboot. Now it is deleted from from drive c: ).Then It should work.
