* It is in working condition. There are some scratches on the bottom (see picture that shows the battery light)

Hi, is this iBook from 2006? You stated it is in working condition? Any "issues" with it at all? Other than the scratches on the bottom mentioned? Would you rate it's working condition as great, very good, good, fair, etc? And once fully charged, how long will the "charge" hold. What other programs are installed? Thank you! Watching

Thanks! I believe this iBook was originally from 2003 (the '06 models have a bigger CPU). Working condition is good - I won't say great because of it's age.I just restored Leopard OSX 10.5.8 which is the newest OS that can be installed on this. The RAM has been upgraded to the maximum amount. Performance is decent - not as snappy as something new, but if you want a MAC/OSX experience it's not bad. If bidding goes over 200k I'll throw in iWork 09 for free. When I unplugged the charger - the battery said about 90-100 minutes.

I am an older lady and I was wondering if this was easy to use? Can I start using it just like my laptop or do I have to change a lot of things before I start using it, Do I have to pay Apple for use

A lot of people think Mac OS is easy to use. It's a bit harder for me to say because I'm tech savvy and it all seems easy to use. I don't think it's hard. You don't have to pay Apple anything unless you buy something on iTunes (music or applications). If you find Windows easy to use, I think you'll find Macs easy too.
