Im so sorry to hear that happened to you. I won this on Listia a year ago. I just don't wear it much anymore. It still looks great. But I really can't say for sure. Is there anyway to tell. All I Know is that it is marked 14kt. Sorry I can't tell you more about it.

you can out a magnet to it at home, if it sticks it is not gold or silver or anything, next is if there are other letters on it, the only other thing isi to test it, I got a test kit from ebay so it does not happen again to me, just some ideas

I will check it out closer to see if there is any other markings. I don't have a magnet or a test kit sorry. But I will check the markings better and let you know later tonight. I can go to walmart tomorrow and see if I can buy a magnet to. I will do that for you, so we know for sure ok.
