to mix your voice in you must record a sample with this program unless you record live, if youre live you can have the mic on another channel and bring it in over the music but if he is making music what I do is record my track & then record the vocals seperate that way I know when I get the vocals down to when I am comfortable with them I can re-record using the pre made vocals & not worry about messing up my mix, wow, thats a longgg answer lol srry!
