My question concerns the markings and you didn't answer it. There's a difference between "designer inspired" and "counterfeit." Many people refer to legitimate designer inspired items as "knockoff" which in my mind, actually implies fakes.

Do the glasses say "Rayban" on them or do they just look similar in style to Raybans?

To clarify, designer inspired items are legal. They do not have actual markings that replicate designer logos or brand names, but rather, they have the similar LOOK of the brand.

In contrast, counterfeit items aka fakes are actually MARKED with copies of the brand names and logo markings.

here's a question, how you suppose I list a pair of glasses on here without a description of what they look like... in words. these are not raybands, they are a knock off style. there are no markings, I believe I answered that in the cat eye glasses "Jackie o". your first approach, rather blunt, and demanding even when it clearly states knock off. if I need to state there are no markings on my future items in terms of describing, not a problem. if I have to shoot

I buy things out of my pocket for my company and now for some reason it's a hassle to even list, even when I clearly state Knock Off. also, I won't be shipping this item at all, I'd rather do what I should of some originally and giving them to my niece.

And the moderator was asking if they actually say "Ray Ban" on the side but aren't authentic because knock offs are not allowed on Listia. I had a Chanel-inspired necklace removed because of that. I understood that these are just inspired by the Ray Ban style and not actually marked as such, so no worries!

Seller, I'm sorry if my questions insulted you but in using the wrong terminology, you risked your listing being flagged as counterfeit.

The clarification actually helps you because your explanation shows that the sunnies are legal "designer inspired" items since they don't have any brand name logos.

In the future, please don't use the brand name as a descriptor for items that aren't made by or marked with that brand name. You can call them inspired.
