Why doesn't this work on laptops? Windows 7 even runs on netbooks if their specs are high enough...

if you install on a laptop your gonna have a really hard time finding the drivers and you probably wont have any sound

the free version isnt out anymore and its also only a 30 day trial. this one is burnt to a disk and has 4 product keys that will come with it printed on a piece of paper.this will stay on your computer forever,its not a trial.also you have unlimited installations :P

Is this the RC version of Windows 7? Because the Official Release of Windows 7 is not until October.

This can not be an Official Release version of Windows 7... As Microsoft has not released the Official Windows 7 and won't release it until the end of October 2009. I have the Windows 7 RC in 32 and 64 bit. If this is a Windows 7 RC version then it will expire in March of 2010. All this information is available on Microsoft's Windows 7 website.
