oh my goodness i saw this and immediatly got on the site to try i have a three year old grandson that lives and breathes thomas but he doesnt have a wooden one hopefully i can add thomas to his list for christmas thank you wish me luck

I think mommylove may just be trying to sabotage your auction! That is definitely an old recall, and NEVER included thomas the tank engine, so even if this was an "older thomas" it still wouldn't be included in the recall. Here are the products that were recalled:

The wooden thomas train cars were long before this. All toys before 2005 should be suspect for children under 12years. Since this is 2011 and not on a recall list it should be safe.
