These are wonderfully useful books of public domain illustrations published by Dover.
About the ones that are in this listing:
There is an illustration of every one of them above.
The CD-ROM's work with XP (which is what I use), and previous OS's. I do not know if they will work with Vista or Win7. However, I have scanned the images from similar books before, tweeked them with Photoshop and they work just fine.
I still reccommend XP over Vista, Win7, but that 's a different story.
These are all new and sealed. The cover price is $19.95, but many places on the net, they are available for $10-$15. The only issue regarding condition is with the "Full-Color Men and Women Illustrations, w/CD-ROM." The lower right-hand corner appears to be bent/rolled up, about an inch. Its impact is on the quality of "newness," but not at all it useability, as this does not effect either the images in the book or the CD-ROM.
This is a tiered auction, but I really hate tiered auctions, so I'm going to make this very, very simple.
The winner will get their choice of any of the eight books, no matter where the auction's bid ends
At 2000, I will ship the winners choice of two; at 4000, the winner's choice of three,at 6000, the winner's choice of four; at 8000, the winner's choice of five; and at 10,000 the winner's choice of six books.
Or, get this, with a GIN bid of 11,111, you can have them all.
Hmmmm, I'm rethinking this......
I may withdraw these items if I don't see much interest in the first five days.....
donate them to some elementary school, non-profit, hmmm, "Christmas" them.....
Okay, Listia Community, let me know what I should do....
My ability to make choices is, indeed, rather funked up with all the craziness of the holidays.
Should I stay or should I go? Will you watch or will you bid?
Comments and Queries are always welcome and encouraged.

This book, too, retails for $19.95.
Of course, to buy it from Dover, you get one that is sealed, but, again, you have to not only pay $19.95 but Postage and handling.
This Listia thing here sure sounds like a better deal to me!
What do you think?
