Funny. While I love music and learning new instruments, for some reason I actually have had dreams for years about skipping band class and not being able to
graduate. And I NEVER skipped band! Ugh.

My daughter plays clairnet now in jr & is going to be playing it next yr in HS band, I would love to surprise her with a new clairnet for all her hard work. The one she has now is getting a lil ruff f&w

I had one of these in Jr. High/High School.. The first one my mom bought me was from a pawn shop and she picked it up for $75.. It needed an overhaul, but overall not a bad deal.. Lasted me from 7th til marching season in 9th when I dropped it and snapped it at the center joint.. Mom took it to the shop to see if they could fix it and they glued and pinned it only for me to drop it again the morning before contest (I used to twirl my clarinet =) ).. After the second drop, it was irreparable, and my mom had to run to the music store to buy me a new one right before contest..
