This auction is for a certificate that entitles one person to enjoy the opportunity of a lifetime. Take several laps around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with a professional driver. Feel the G-forces as you hit the turn. Experience the excitement of track speeds along the straight-away.
I've done this several times and there are few experiences in life that compare. The certificates will allow for 1 person to participate in the ride along, but they allow you to bring family and friends to watch - which is a neat opportunity in itself - to be in the pit with the cars whizzing right by you!
The company typically posts the available dates in late January or early February - you'd simply need to pick the date and call the company to reserve it, then show up and enjoy this mind-blowing experience.
Want to do this with a friend? I have a second certificate listed here as well.
Must be 18 years of age, < 250 lbs and < 6'5" tall. Company rules, not mine.

Questions & Comments

Does that say 250lbs and 6'5" to qualify or up to ????

<250 lbs (less than). Same with height, it's the maximum. Under is fine. Over is not.

This is WICKED cool! My son is a huge fan of Indy racing! Does the certificate have an expiration date? Thanks :)

It has one and it's past that date, but I've had several of these over the years and they always honor them - i've rolled them over several years without problems. Everyone can rest assured that if there were any problems with redeeming the certificate, I'd either get in the middle of it and make sure it happens (I've been dealing with them for many years and we have a good relationship), or just give you your points back. I'll definitely be on the phone with them when the winner picks a date to ensure all is set up and the winner has a confirmed date to ride. They're a great racing group though, super people. Bid with total confidence, I'd sooner do myself wrong than someone who put their trust in me and bid on my items. You can take that to the bank.

By the way Brifian... make sure you see the age restriction. They are not allowed to let anyone under 18 or >250lbs or > 6'5" height ride. They will turn you away for this, as these are the safety constraints of the vehicle. So only bid for someone who meets these criteria. Beyond that, pretty much anything goes.

Probably the coolest auction ive seen on here so far. The only thing that could beat this is maybe get to throw the first pitch during a Sox game or something. Cool for you to list.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing. Makes it hard to believe bidding is only up to about $1.00 in credits for a $600 item. I may be pulling this deal if we don't materially exceed 40-50k credits (which judging by where gift cards sell is about $80-$100). I don't mind someone getting a great deal, but this is a joke.

Well, looks like you can't pull an auction after bids are placed (that wiley little delete button disappeared!), and having just read through the rules it appears I'm committed, so it is what it is. High bidder takes it for better or worse. I do have a second cert which I did pull with no bids on it. If bidding reaches reasonable levels, I'll offer that one to the high bidder here for the same amount. If not, I'll just be giving it away to friends. Ah well. Somebody's going to make out like a bandit.

No worries Kurt. My word is my bond. Former military officer here and I don't mess around. Please don't be painting the false picture that this certificate is invalid though. I've already addressed the issue above and anyone I've dealt with on here knows that I deliver - over 100 auctions in the last month alone. Don't think it was your intent, but onlookers might misinterpret your comments as a bidding strategy at the expense of my integrity, and that does neither of our reputations any good. Cheers and good luck if you do decide to bid.
