how long it records depends on what size sd card you have in it... if you get a large sd card it will record for a long time..

honestly I don't know... it says.. DXG 569 HD 5.1 Mega pixel F/3.3f=7.50 mm if that tells you anything.. It also has a flash for taking still pictures in the dark and a light that comes on to take movies when its dark
