Thank you for stopping in. I am Celebrating my 500th FAN BADGE with this Breathtaking 5 ct Pink Ruby Ring. THAT’S RIGNT 5 ct’s !

Some know or call this lovely Pink RUBY a Pink Sapphire. Either way, these gems are breathtaking and some of the most beautiful in the corundum family

Set in .925 marked Silver this Beautiful Pink Ruby weighs about 5 carats It has small white topaz accent stones on the sides of the band. Size 7. The Retail Value for this ring is $98.97

The retailer where I bought this stated these were genuine natural mined stones and the silver was true .925 silver. I have no reason to doubt his word but as we know not all are honest. So, Please bid on this as if it was just a pretty ring and not for some assumed value

Just below the title you will see the time.. the amount it is at... then an empty box with a Bright Green button by it.. put the amount you want to bid in the empty box. Hit Bid. Now after that goes you will see a pail yellow shaded area with "You are about to bid 100 (or what you bid) credits". ,, Then Submit ,, Cancel Choose which ever of these options you want to do then click it.
If your bid is not enough it will tell you so. You just go from there.

LOL i love rubies just not the pink... and like I said in the Auction the place I got it from says that all their stones are natural mined stones and that their silver is true .925 silver. I have no way of knowing if this is a natural ruby or not. I do know that the ring does not react to a magnet. I don't know how to test to see if this is a ruby or not. So like i stated Bid accordingly and not for an investment.

There is no way I would want someone thinking this was some super treasure only to find out it was not. That would kill my soul. I bought it in good faith and listed it in good faith. I only hope it was sold to me in good faith by a fair person.

This ring is beautiful!! Oh, how I wish it would fit one of my fingers!! I can wear a 6 on my thumb!! Small fingers are hard to find rings for, but I'm glad I have them!!!

you and my mom are are in the same boat.. she wore a size 4 most of her life. She no longer wears rings due to her hands swelling. It is hard to find small sizes with stones that work well for smaller hands. This stone is a large one.

ah sorry but you can always try another finger. or use a spacer if it is only a little big. I have several that are a little big but i have a small silver band I wear in front of it .

No the days were short to start with. Most do a lot longer. This will just give everyone time to get more credits to bid with. It will be reachable for most because It wont go off the charts. Good luck if you list auctions I hope they make you good credits.

When you bought this did they mention it being lab created? Because we have had an embargo against ruby imports for several years now the other thing is that the size would make it astronomical in cost. The 3/4 katat oval I bought wholesale 5yrs ago from Burma was $198. without the setting.It looks like it could be pink topaz which again the size would say its created as well. People charge quite a bit even for the labs because you cant get the natural rubies anymore & the properties are exactly the same as the natural. That said it is a gorgeous ring.!!!

Thank you for your kind words and great questions. I was told when I bought this that it was a natural mined stone. Like I said in the auction description I am taking the sellers word for this.
The embargo you are referring to only effects Burmese rubies and jadeite. It went in to effect in September 2008 as part of the Tom Lantos Block Burmese JADE (Junta's Anti-Democratic Efforts) Act of 2008.
Rubies and her sister Sapphire (Both of which belong to the corundum family) are mined in many places other than Berma to include : Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Tanzania, Afghanistan, Thailand, Cambodia, India and even here in the USA in Montana
The Pink color is referred to as Ruby or Sapphire. I guess it depends on the retailer. Pink ruby's and or Pink sapphires are not that uncommon as of now. The link in the auction site is a good source of information on gems.
