I am really, really reluctant about listia this because of the high appraised price,I thought I would give a collector this chance.Thats the main reason the get it now price is so high
Only serious bidders wil be excepted this is a very valuable piece of printed history
The title of this book is:Giotto and his works in Padua it was written by John Ruskin and is copyrighted 1854
IT'S OVER 150 YEARS OLD
this is the exact text from inside about his book
Giotto and his works in Padua:
being an Explanatory Notice of the series of woodcuts
excuted for the Arundel Society after the Frecoes in the Arena Chapel
by John Ruskin
Printed for the Arundel Society by Levey, Robson and Franklin...Great New Street and Fetter Lane London England
I will tell you this is somewhat difficult to read because some of it is in the old English form of writing,i.e the word such as we know it however in this book it is printed as fuch so the ess'es look like f's that's just one example
pages are thick that was the way by then, there are some illustrations in the book as well
there is wear along the spine on the outside cover by seeing how old this book is I would expect that
I had this book appraised 4 years ago but out of fair play I'm not telling the appraised price Ok
This is only going to be listia once!
any further questions please ask
thank you for looking and if you win this book it would be a great addition to a collection don't you think
I am a trusted Listia seller
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
