This is a stunning necklace, the butterfly part is solid 10k white and yellow gold and the chain part is sterling silver, this sells for $88 at Walmart. It is hallmarked 10k and 925. Very pretty piece! You can check, just type in beaded butterfly on walmart.com and it will come up.

I tested it in a few different places, the butterfly part appears to be solid 10k white and yellow gold, the neck chain part tests silver, the butterfly tested 10k, this was done with a stone and acid test method, it is also hallmarked 925 and 10k. hope that helps :)

Yes it is solid... mine broke but hopefully I can get it fixed, my last necklace broke and Wal-mart replaced it! maybe I'll get lucky again :D
