Here for your bidding pleasure is an authentic 1943 edition of the servicemen's bible published by the National publishing company, and distributed by the Gideons to all members of the armed services !!!

It has a forward letter from the commander-in-chief, Franklin D. Roosevelt !!!

The only flaw I can see in this bible is that there are two pages at the end of the book of John that are torn in half.
Other than that, this bible is in awesome shape for being almost 70 years old !!!
The binding is tight and the pages are not yellowed or stained.

Folks, this is an amazing piece of history, to know that one of America's finest carried this through at least one world war and maybe some after that !!!

No it was not, I won it on here awhile back and after I got it it has been sitting on a shelf collecting dust, so I decided to put it back up for auction, so someone else could enjoy it !!!
