note: all my mtg card prices are from tcgplayer.com from the high end due to the fact that most cards i have go from the booster to the binder because i dont play magic i just collect. so unless otherwise noted cards are in great condition.

I can't see why that's such an expensive card. It's kind of stupid to force yourself to lose 2 life to make a player discard a card. Why not use Duress, for that matter. No life lost, for the same mana cost.

duress limits you to a nonland noncreature card unlike thoughtsieze where its a nonland card, this could be a game crushing first turn move for a mere 2 life. this is what separates the men from the boys when it comes to magic always maintain the upper hand, in the right deck these cards plus others will completely control what your opponent is allowed to have. but by all mean use your duress its a lot cheaper and easier to obtain lol :)

many dont like this card used against them me being on of them but using it brings a sick sort of satisfaction that your opponent hate this card used on him as much as you do
