The 'Kru' is a rare banana in the united states being only occasionally found in private collections. The plant is of moderate height growing to about 12 feet. It is somewhat slender and quite cold sensitive. The pseudostem is very pink and the red fruit has angular edges and little curvature. Very colorful banana. It is suited for the garden, greenhouse and container. It produces a delicious banana with a reddish skin. In a container it will reach to about 5-8 Ft. This is a red Kru and the stalk (when in direct sun has a beautiful red color...it's a very pretty banana tree. I'm not sure but the picture might not have come out well but with measurement is just a little over 11" I will not be shipping this med box flat rate..it's just to expensive and probably will ship this in a tube container with confirmation number unless the winner is willing to pay the med fat rate shipping (10.95) and I will still have confirmation number to it. It is well worth it if you go that route!
