This is
actually a gem laboratory kit with
everything. there's a refractometer,
polariscope, dichroscope, a spectrscope, an
emerald filter, and a diamond tester. the
diamond tester doesn't work right but can
be calibrated by a gemoligist, but I can't
find one here in Redding. the only other
thing you need is refractometer fluid. you
can get that online.. the digital scale is
perfect and comes in its own case. and
then finally, there's a book for using the
tools and a nice gemstones identification
book. I just
looked on jtv and they only have the
refractometer. their price for that was
$249, but on sale for $169. This is for a serious gemstone collector or someone interested in becoming a gemologist. Thanks, any questions are welcome as long as you're nice. ; ) p.s.
