To be honest, I couldn't tell you how this item washes since this is brand new and never used. It's still in the plastic. I can tell you that I have other silicone bakeware that I use on a regular basis and washes very easily.

I can't say for sure but I would think you could use it for the FlavorWave oven since they are both the same type of oven, just different companies.

Can the pizza liner still be flipped without the flipper? Seems like the silicone would be too wobbly to flip it without the flipper...

I honestly couldn't tell you since I've never used the liner and have never tried to make a pizza in my nuwave oven. I use the flipper for meat such as roasts, chops, etc.

I'm not sure what you mean by plastic covering. It's just like a regular silicone pizza pan. There is no cover.

No it's not metal. It's made out of the silicone rubber type bakeware so no more worrying about rusty pans.
