It has been completely wiped and the simcard is not included. This phone is an AT&T iPhone. It has not been jailbroken or unlocked.

-The original box and documentation is also included.

When I got it I personalized it. If you look carefully it's a mailing label.
That would be awesome if they did personlized them, and charge you a few thousand points I think. Everybody always likes it personalized. Thanks for stopping

You will NOT HAVE TO UNLOCK IT if you use Straight Talk !!! Straight Talk will give you unlimited data, texting, picture messages, calls, 411, but not international for only $45 dollars a month.. If you said it was for AT&T, you just go to http://www.straighttalksim.com/ and buy an AT&T COMPATIBLE SIM CARD for I think $14.95 and then $45 a month for what I said before... You just take a paper clip and pop out the SIM card tray and put it in, it SHOULD work as if you put an AT&T SIM card in it, if not just follow their instructions to fix that. You don't need to sign up for a contract and there's no hidden fees, just tax, and you can do auto-pay as well. Hope this helps you

Unlocked and Jailbroken are completely different. Google the terms if you dont know the difference. Jailbroken means you can use free apps and other apps that may not be official and in the itunes store, and you can unlock some other features that you would normally have to pay for, or just arent available from your carrier, like Tethering for instance.
Unlocked means you can use it with any carrier that is CDMA or GSM, depending on what model iphone we're talking about.

@biggramma - If you ALREADY have AT&T and you will be using this unit to replace another cellphone, they should be able to give you a sim card for free. I would call and check with them. I recently changed phones on an existing line and needed a new sim card, my provider gave me a brand new one -- no charge. Fanned & good luck on this fab listing =}
