Antique Bracelet made by Kramer of New York. There is a marking on the back with his signiture Kramer of New York. This was a bracelet from what was known as his Diamond collection..which means it was made between 1940-1950.
He called it the diamond collection because the stones look so much like diamonds...pictures don't do justice to this piece.
Little info on Kramer..Kramer Jewerly creations was founded in 1943 in New York by louis Kramer.
The Company closed in 1979-1980
Kramer was known for using unique and rare specility stones and beads.
He also made jewerly for Christian Dior in the 50's and 60's.
I just got this bracelet back from my jeweler's today. Three of the stones..two on one end and one on the other end were missing, so I did have him replace those stones.
It measures 7 1/2 inches long and cannot be cut down to a different size. this is why I'm listing it..don't like bracelets flipping around my wrist.
It's a very beautiful piece..lots of shine!!
