Beautiful, tall Pampas Grass grows to a height of 6-8' and is topped with showy, silky 18-24" plumes in mid to late summer. Never needs water once established. Ships with dirt intact around the roots. Cortaderia selloana

Botanical Name: Cortaderia selloana
Form: Perennial grass
Sun Exposure: Full Sun
Height/Habit: 5 - 7'
Spread: 3 - 6'
Spacing: 4 - 6'
Hardiness Zone: 7 - 10 (0 degrees F)
Foliage Type: Narrow grass blades.
Flower Form: Grass plume.
Flower Color: White.
Flowering Date: Mid to late summer.
Planting Requirements: Plant at the back of a perennial border.
Soil Requirements: Well drained, slightly damp but not wet.
Growth Rate: Fast.

Unique Characteristics: Habit, seed heads large. Require minimal care. Has showy, silky white flower plumes.
Pruning: Trim out old stems in late winter to early spring.
Additional Information: The foliage is sharp and may cut skin and catch clothing. Use gloves and some protective clothing when cleaning up and caring for.
