Our July charity is Habitat for Humanity. Use your credits to purchase stars for them, and for every five stars Listia will donate $1 to support the building of homes for low income families.

Habitat welcomes all people—regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or any other difference—to build and repair simple, decent, affordable houses with those who lack adequate shelter. Homeowners are selected based on their need for housing, their ability to repay a mortgage and their willingness to work in partnership with Habitat. Habitat is able to make housing affordable to low-income families because houses are sold through a no-profit mortgage.

Since its founding in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped build or repair over 500,000 houses and served over 2 million people around the world.
