UPDATE: Our first goal for the Shelter Network was so successful that we're increasing our target to 200,000 credits!

Listia users are invited to donate credits to Shelter Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting homeless families and individuals on the San Francisco Peninsula.

Shelter Network, established in 1987, is one of the largest human services agencies serving homeless individuals in the Bay Area. Through collaborative partnerships and a broad range of supportive services, Shelter Network helps over 4,600 homeless children and adults annually return to permanent housing and ongoing self-sufficiency. Over half of all people we serve are children, and 10 percent of our adult clients are Veterans.

Your donation of Listia credits will be used to purchase items for Shelter Network’s families, including items such as diapers, clothing, school supplies, and sports equipment. All items go directly to Shelter Network children and their parents, free of charge, allowing them to budget their income for job and housing search expenses. Over 90 percent of the families that graduate from our transitional program return to self-sufficiency after an average stay of just 120 days.
