Time Left:

Instruments were a requirement when I was a kid in public school. Learning to play the violin in elementary school changed the course of my life forever. But in 2014 music in public schools is hard to find; it's barely a requirement or even an elective. Schools cannot afford instruments or the instructors to teach kids how to play. Still, the proof is there! Students who study music are 5 times less likely to drop out of school. Music education helps improve grades, standardized test scores, behavior, attendance and student health.

Please join me this month in donating extra credits to help bring music back to our public schools.

Caring for medically fragile children can be both emotionally and financially challenging.
