Sponsored Raffles are different from auctions. In a raffle, the sponsor lists an item, and every user that enters the raffle has a chance to win that item. Users can purchase raffle tickets using their Listia credits any time up until the end of the raffle. The more raffle tickets you have, the higher your chance of winning that item. For instance, if 10 people each bought 100 raffle tickets, then each user would have an equal 10% chance of winning that item. The winner will be chosen randomly by our automated system once the raffle ends.
You can only use credits to buy a certain amount of raffle tickets per day and this amount will be stated on the raffle. This daily cap is calculated based on your user level, so new users have a lower cap while long-time users have a higher cap. Credits used to purchase raffle tickets are not refunded at the end of the raffle, so you will lose those credits permanently if you do not win.
