Description

The listing, New Natural Wood Lockback & Leather Sheath has ended.

***NOTE: Shipping anywhere in the U.S. vie First Class Mail will be free IF the high bidder uses Get-It-Now or if the bidding reaches 4000 credits!***

Bidding is on a sweet Natural Wood Lockback, with mild palm swells and curved frame and handles to help provide the user with a sure, steady grip.

The knife is about 4" closed with a blade just over 3.5". It has a solid locking mechanism and a substantial blade. I have put a knife just like this through the paces on the job and they hold up very well. This is a heavy knife, with a metal frame, real wood scales (handles), and double metal bolsters. It was built to last.

The dark brown sheath is made of real leather.

To save on shipping, I've tossed the box and the knife will come in the plastic it came in, inside the sheath.

If the high bidder does not use GIN, and bidding stays under 4000 credits, shipping by First Class Mail will run $3.50 anywhere in the U.S. I'm afraid I don't ship knives outside of the U.S.

I'll take payment for shipping by PayPal, cash, check, money order, and hidden cash. However, I don't like hidden cash and can't recommend it as mail theft is too common. So anyone who sends hidden cash has to take the risk of loss.

Please do NOT bid if you are under 18, and please do not bid if you don't have a Listia verified address. I can't ship to anything but a verified address.

If you have any questions, please ask 'em before you bid.

I've sold lots of knives and this is one of my favorites. Its heavy, substantial, and the right size to go in the sheath or in your pocket. It also makes an affordable gift for those on a budget!

This is gonna sound silly but what the heck is GIN? You keep using it and I've never heard of it.

You gotta learn somehow, so not such a silly question. It's like the "Buy-It-Now" feature on e-bay. As a newby, you can't use the GIN feature in your listings yet, so you wouldn't have seen that option when you listed items. I think you have to list at least 5 or 10 items with successful outcomes or something like that before you can list an auction with GIN. You'll see comments on lots of auctions asking people to use a GIN, and people will probably ask you to set a GIN on some of your listings, not realizing you can't set one as new Listia member, and you can't put one on there once there are bids. Unlike e-bay, the Listia GIN stays in place even after people have bid, though it goes away at some point: I think when the bidding gets within a certain range of the GIN price. The unfortunate thing is that you have to pay credits to use a GIN as a seller, AND the minimum GIN you can use is 2000 credits. Hope all this helps! Don't hesitate to ask me any questions you have about my item OR my description. --Dan

NICE knife, had to bid on it! I like to think of myself as a small time collector where knives are concerned, and as soon as I saw yours I began to salivate. I love the gold tone to the wood, and the easy symbiosis it shares with the brass, and the shape of it looks like it would rest easy in the hand. The leather case is a welcome bonus to an already ample offering. Thanks for putting it up, and I hope I win!

I'm bidding on one of yours for my son, and you on one of mine. I used to sell the heck out of these on ebay, but then all my knife sales on ebay just sort of tanked. This is the last of the natural wood type I have. What surprised me is the solidness of them - I prefer a substantial knife to plastic, real wood to most anything else. And this one is heavy, so you really can grip it well. Thanks for watching - good luck!
