Update: There were a few people who commented on this last auction who i wish my cell phone would work to let me get in contact with - I hope you're out there still looking for the answers to the questions you seek. The Kotiwec necklace is the family name of the makers of the necklace. They are rare because the person who made them - all of the remainders of the stock that is left - has passed away. So once these are gone, there will be no further Kotiwec necklaces. They are made of various types of fabric - mostly cloth - some are silky soft material.
