You don't need a tree! This kind of item would look great on a car rear view mirror, in the window of your kitchen or bedroom, hanging under any light fixture in your abode, or a thoughtful gift to a friend : )

A bit of beginners type woodworking projects - so far 2 earring trees, wood plaque of houses, and on the finishing end - 4 lawn birds, canvas type paintings - working on my first oil usually do acrylic, sewing craft type projects often my own patterns, and organic gardening.

Thanks, of course I don't do these all at the same time. I think your work is impressive. I auctioned of some carving books here recently; I wouldn't even tackle what you are doing. Oh I love to read too - have 100's of books ahead of me. I belong to a woodworking group online as well as a book exchange type group.

Cutting out pieces I can do but I'm not interested in carving. How could you show me how to do this?

Go to Intarsia.com Judy gale Roberts is the one who inspired me. She has a tape on there, that will help you real good, I get magazines called woodworks and crafts, and scrollsaw and crafts. I was in both of those magazines. If you want me to e-mail me your address and I'll try to send you some things if I can.
