The listing, Beautiful Blue Prom Dress. has ended.

Size 8, new, never worn. Strapless sweetheart bust line. I bought this dress for my Grand Daughter. She never got to wear it because it fit to snug in the waist. She was in tears because she loved it so much and didn't have time to have altered. Be sure to measure yourself (BUST= 35 WAIST=28) hips doesn't matter because the fullness of the dress. I took the pictures outside to show the true color of the dress and it is much fuller when wearing, also it has a corset lace up back.

from what I was told when looking for a formal dress at dress shops, formals will run about a size or 2 smaller than your normal street clothes size. think it has a lot to do with someones build. the lace up back will help in the chest/ rib areas but with the zipper in the lower part, it will fit true to size. it might be able to be altered without a seamstress messing up the dress. sorry, I didn't mean to step on anyones toes. ive been wedding dress shopping. lol. this is a beautiful dress and I would love to win it for my sr. prom. the color is beautiful and so is the style. thank you for listing this wonderful auction and look forward to seeing other items listed from you! Yes I'm sure you are right and you didn't step on any toes, I just wish I had known this when I ordered the dress, because it fit my grand daughter in the bust but was to small in the waist. Thanks for you input, it may help someone that wants to bid.

It is alright if you flagged it by accident, there is nothing wrong with it. Listia will just look at it and be like "nope nothing wrong with it". I always accidentally flag my own auctions, lol.

I ordered it over the internet. Didn't measure my grand daughter that why it was to small in the waist. Just knew she wore a size 8.

If you measured yourself according to what I wrote, it will fit. The bust will be a little forgiving because it laces up, good luck.

Oh a question. What if the bust is perfect but the waist is 26. Aren't you allowed to just tie it from the back?

I just looked at the dress again. I has a short zipper from the waist down, and a hook and eye at the waist. The lace up goes from the top of the back to the waist. You may be able to pull it in at the waist to fit, or even move the hook over a little. It would easer to fix if it was a litter to large than if it was to small.
