******PLEASE READ*******
This is a Sylvania Smartbook model synet07526. Its original OS was windows CE. It is a embedded OS laptop. That means there is no hard drive no cd rom. Just a embedd chip,3 usb ports ethernet plug and SD card. This computers OS was corrupted. And the battery is dead for good. It does power up, I used a psp ac adapter 5v and it worked. I dont have a power cord for this sorry. The OS on it now is Android 2.2, The wifi works perfect. You can surf the net, play android app games, and more if your a computer techie like me. I just have some other projects in the works for now. I think its pretty kool little computer.

Im still toying with it right now. Still trying to get it working really good. Il be puting a few good apps on here since this is a rooted android laptop. Has superuser installed and System Tuner Pro. Il have updates.

This is a modified version of android 2.2 os rooted . It dosnt have google play store but has Black Market Alpha store ;) Alot of this had to be manually put in. Im just trying to make it look good pretty much. Its already proven its better then windows CE by far. I was thinking of Minecraft to put on this so Il let you know soon.

aliciapewdiexcudie I tried to install Minecraft - Pocket Edition v0.7.1 [PREMIUM] but it wouldnt work. Il keep missing with it though and see wut happens. Oprea Mini web browser has been installed and works perfect. Il continue to upgrade this the best possible and keep everyone updated.

Im sorry margaretferguson9279807 I thought this was my *Moded* Wii auction. Sims 3 wont play on this I dont think. This is a moded android 2.2 OS. It dosnt play all games on this. Iv tried fruit Ninja,Contra 3 & sonic. They did not work on this. This is more for a tech to have really to play around with. Some1 that is into developing android apps and embedded OS.

How much physical memory does this unit have? how much temp memory does it have? You should know this, It will determine how much can be loaded to it, and what it will run as far as games or other apps. Also, if you have the right operating system on it, it will recognize those keyboards. look that up. and reinstall it. thanks.

This system HAD Windows CE embedded ( a flash rom ), with the VIA 8505 Processor,400MHz speed,128mb phisical ram no more can be added, and I think 2 GB internal hd space. But now runs on android 2.2 *rooted* OS modded VIA8505 rom, with Kernel version 2.6.29-dirty,build number WMT2.1.2 And if you won I can put windows CE back on if you want but just to let you know it wont work right using that OS on this notebook. It will load and run yes BUT the battery is dead on this and when it boots it says battery low and starts a 60sec countdown to shutdown. I looked in the power options to change it to ac power, but there is no option for that. Then I thought about trying to write a script n yes since its a embedded OS it uses scripts (used on SD card) to override the variable to bypass it but really dont have the time to do that because Im working on a program already that takes all my time. So I went with a alternative. The virtual keyboard works, just not the physical. But a tech could have a nice challenge writing a script to make it work or maybe find a app to use that will recognize it. And as for the apps. I have the Black Market Alpha on here instead of Google Play,Opera Mini for web browser, System Tuner Pro for tweaks/manager. Dosnt play all games on this. But like Iv stated alot its really for a tech to play around with. Hope that clears it up some for you. =)

O and windsongone using the Android OS on it now just gives you a message at boot saying your battery is 15% even with the ac adapter pluged in. Im using a psp 5v ac adapter. This computer dosnt have 1 nor shiped with 1. I didnt get 1 with it. And it will stay on now.
