Front shows Jesus on the Cross surrounded by hummingbirds. It was sometimes a symbol of the resurection of Jesus Christ. This originated when a group of natives in the Andes watched a hummingbird go into it's hibernation-like state appearing to die. Then they watched it return to life as a miracle.

The back has the Ten Commandments listed as well as the bars serial number.

The bar weighs 1 Troy Oz. The bars has a very thin layer of gold (100 mills) over most likely a copper core. There is very little gold on this bar. This is for collectors and not for investing. The gold layer will protect and keep the bar in prestine shape, with added protection from the air tite plastic holder.
