french hollyhock or zebra mallow, is a wonderful addition to any cottage or victorian style garden. a very pretty, old-fashioned flowering plant with lovely edible and medicinal dark green foliage. drought tolerant and an extra long blooming season- spring, summer, & fall- make this one of the best heirloom perennials!

seeds are hand harvested fresh from my garden, 2013. the flowers are abundant + about one inch wide, white / pale lavender with dark purple stripes. these grow to from 2 to 4 feet tall and will self-propagate, if left to grow freely, even in dry soil. butterflies love them, they will be daily visitors to wherever you choose to plant these.
