I can't remember for sure when the floating necklaces were in style, whether it was the 80's or 90's (when you get up in years you forget those kind of things), but, I know it's been a while. This floating Christian necklace is still on the card and It has never been worn. It's sterling silver, according to the package, but, I couldn't find the silver mark on the dove pendant, just the clasp of the clear nylon cord. There is an R and a DV stamped on the back of the dove, however. The dove is a little smaller than a dime. Not sure how long the cord is, it's taped up in a little pouch on the back and I don't want to mess up the package. A lovely vintage little necklace.
