Description

The listing, Moonflower/Datura Night Bloomer 100 seeds has ended.

Night-blooming moonflowers make a geat landscape addition. Mine were growing 2 to 3 feet tall this last Summer, and they would load up almost every night with a load of pretty, white blooms that had a pleasant , light aroma...This is an annual plant, that will reseed year after year, eventually making a big patch of them if you so desire... Blooms will stay open on a cloudy day after being open all night .Plant directly into ground after danger of late frost is past. .
I have read that , with good care and fertilization, and in better soil than mine, the Moonflowers will attain 4-8 feet in height... I am on sandy loam soil that dries out fast, and I am in Texas, where the Summer heat is a factor they will tolerate, but not excell in.
Thanks for looking

Ah crazy to see these here on listia. These are the Datura Inoxia genome yes?? Haven't seen these in a while, I grow the Datura Stramonium and also the datura Metel, working on crossing the two,but can't seem to stabilize it yet. Would love to acquire some seeds from this breed. Also I am interested in a bigger quantity if you'd be interested!-? get back to me when you have time! -One Love ☼

It is good to encounter someone well-versed with them, and I do appreciate your interest. These were obtained at a meeting of our local beekeepers associaton--one of our members gave me 4 starings of them, and I have very many seeds from only those plants. Please email me at mosin53@aol.com , and we shall discuss this further. I am willing to help you in your endeavor to cross them, and it will be amazingly inexpensive, as I respect breeders with your idea of making a change in the variety...I will be most glad to contribute to the cause.
Regards,
Rick
