This is crazy!! Lol!! Has anyone realized that the LISTIA team made this up to get our credits. I bet each team member has so many of these auctions a piece for them to build up their credits so they can get whatever they want off LISTIA and still have more credits to spend. Yes the team is allowed to have an account. If you think about it for what the silver coin is worth you can sell it and buy your own credits if you wanted. I'm not spending my credits for a cheap 25 cent Japanese lint remover when I can use duct tape and it works even better. Think I'll use my credits to get some silver jewelry that's worth more than a $20 silver coin. Good luck to all that's got credits to waste. Not trying to be mean if it sounds like I am. Just giving my opinion. Don't mean to make anyone mad. Sorry if I did!!

i thought you said anyone can win "it dosnt matter how many credits you have" everyone will have a chance ....Dosnt that seem alittle far fetched now???...haha i still love the site but come on now the only chance anyone is getting is losing alot of credits or going completely broke ...anyways I think ima just stick to my regular routine and keep the insanity down from the searching that has been done ....good luck everyone

A certain percent % will be relisted - those will be less value and the best time to attempt a bid :) any who found them for way less are certainly going to bid. I say for those out of the Credit picture = LIST THE LINK!! To be sure they pay max value at the least :) Make um pay -- List the links on FB & blog.

If you find an item that no one else has found you won't need to have a lot of credits to win it.

I found 1 and bid on it, my available credits reflects the bid on the Silver Rush auction. This is the 2nd one and I honestly don't want to bid on it if I'm spending my own credits. I have other real auctions that I'm watching that I'd much rather try to win.

everybody start FLAGGING these auctions!! these are SCAMS!! listia is laughing at everybody that is giving all there credits to them cause that's where your credits are going if you bid on these auctions!! this is just another way for listia to get your credits!!!! I thought they would hide the coins in members auctions at least.... but there not!! they have put there own auctions up so they can get the credits!! such a scam!!!!!!!!!

So the lesson is, short & sweet... You spend forever searching (unless you have an insider info) You find a coin(s) attached to a 25 cent piece of junk with instructions in Japanese... You bid thousands of credits 9which you are actually giving to Listia... Now you are broke IF you win & you get a 1 oz silver coin worth $20 OR LESS, that may or MAY NOT ever increase in value... & the whole promo was a BIG LIE to take good members for mega-credits... In the process, Listia has managed to alienate MANY good members, A LOT who are just leaving the site because they feel they were taken !!! Hey bidders, good luck, Het Listia, Good Job... Way to keep your site popular, hope it was worth it !!!

this is TOOOOO FUNNY!! I wonder if listia will respond to all this mess this silver coin stuff has caused..... everybody attacking, messaging and blocking each other over actions or comments people has left, I bet this has ran listia off and they probably wont ever do anything like this EVER again!! even if it was for the good or for the bad as people claim...I have no opinion in this either way, I just wanted to see what everybody was talking about in these auctions and see what the outcome and what listians thought about it,, and everyone I have been to has had really bad comments and very unhappy listians..... when I first heard about this I never thought it would have so much negativity and such a bad outcome, lol, but that's the way it goes sometimes I guess... well.... I want to wish everyone goodluck and happy bidding if its not to late, lol

These coins will literally be worth NOTHING. It is useless to give up your credits for them. And the other item you receive with it is cheap crap that's not even in English!

listia looses TOOONS of credits every day due to scammers listings fake auctions, so this is the most intelligent scam I have ever seen!! listia has come up with a way to get there credits back by putting up there own auctions and saying its for us and throwing in the word silver so we will give them all our hard earned credits and pay off there debt for them!! WAY TO LISTIA!!! its working!! listia should be in the surplus for credits now!!!

It's the silver coin - superstuff23, part of the listia silver rush promo. If silver skyrockets again, these could be worth a lot, but they'll be worth $20 resale, less at pawn/coin shops easily.

So let me get this right? The only auctions with silver are mostly unverified listia team member auctions? Huh...

Flag it, indeed! This shouldn't be in health and beauty anyway, even if it's in "other" it belongs in electronics. all of these dummy auctions are probably mis-categorized.

So, I just added up the credits that just 35 of these crap auctions are up to presently... Now remembering, this is only around 1/2 that are up (as far as I have read) & many still have 1 to 2 days to go, so probably will go up even more... But right now, these 35 auctions are totaling 1,229,053 hard-earned credits Listia is taking from Listians. I AM NOT WHINING BTW, cause I AM NOT bidding my credits... I am simply pointing out facts. If you double that figure, because I only added up 35 of the non-finished auctions, it means Listia is going to be taking around 2,458,106 credits... They believe that is a good thing to do to the people who use the site & keep them popular online & spread the word about Listia on Facebook & Twitter & via email & word-of-mouth... To me, that is just sad, especially when you consider that a LOT of people who DID bid, did so before all this info came to light !!! Boooo @ Listia :-(

Obviously only one person is going to win the auction and yeah the bidding will probably go high, just like with the gift cards, but it was a bit of fun to look and kind of exciting to find a coin and who knows how many they will put out there? I figure its a fun way to waste some time and I'm happy for those that actually win one!

and the rub is, I've been looking for one of these - but I probably won't be able to afford it! LOL
