What a nice sentiment ... I'm so sorry about your aunt. My aunt died of lung cancer too a few years back. Sad memories ...

Yup, you can use these to make earrings. With the big holes, however, you might need a little 3mm beads to put on the headpin, so it fills up the center of the hole. Otherwise it kind of dangles around oddly on the headpin. That's how I make Euro charm earring, anyway!
