The listing, Blown Glass Dolphin Necklace has ended.

Blown glass dolphin attached to 20" of genuine stabilized turquoise and blue lace agate. Dolphin hangs from sterling silver chain. Necklace has nice size sterling silver lobster claw clasp for easy opening and closing. Please zoom in on the dolphin and notice the layering inside. Thi is a really talented glass blower. All of my jewelry is made from real gemstones. If they have been treated to improve clarity or prevent cracking,I disclose it. This real turquoise was treated to enhance color and prevent cracking. It is not re-constituted turquoise. Listia rules. Verified addresses only. If any questions ask before bidding. Just got home from short vacation. No, it is not Murano glass. Sorry I had no wifi where we were over the weekend. Murano is an entirely different technique from this. If I ever sell anything with a copy write name like Murano, I would disclose it immediately. It is very pretty none the less and shows a playful heart by the artist. Great question though.

Zoom in on the dolphin and you can see the style used gives this dolphin 3D depth. Funny how we attach name brands to different things. I always had to make my own clothes, my children's clothes, and of course my husbands clothes. Never bought a lot of store clothes, let alone name brand. Woe is me. LOL

Thank you for the compliment. My grandfather was Italian. My mom always wanted me to visit Italy. That is why, I asked. It may not be Murano glass, but your dolphin looks like it is in many respects.

Thank you. The artist of this dolphin is local to the Virginia beach area of Virginia. Very talented elderly man, I think from Italy also. Will have to ask. Probably why it resembles Murano glass??? Oh well. Back to the surveys.

I'm from Portsmouth va I moved out here to Cali about 14 months ago. I actually miss the east coast beaches.

I was born in Norfolk because we didn't have a hospital back then. I lived in Virginia beach most of my life, but when my husband had to work in Delaware, we moved. We moved back to Virginia Beach after my father died. We moved in with my mother to help her. She had a huge brick split level on the lake. We had to move to Wakefield for a better job my husband got. My mother moved in with us and lived here until her death. She left my 2 brothers and I a sizeable sum of money already set up by my older brother in a way for it to be tax free. When the housing market crashed and interest rates were at 3.375, we put down 20% on a house in Virginia Beach as a vacation home.
