The listing, Handmade Floating Glass Fish has ended.

These little guys could be the some of the best aquatic pets ever! Very unique set. These beautifully hand made glass fish and crabs are each tied to their own glass air balloon and suspended in water to create the illusion of a fish tank! These guys look great in almost any glass container with glass marbles and a few smooth stones. Place them near a window or light source and watch them brighten up.

I regret to say that the glass pitcher used in the display photos will not be included. Here is what you will receive:

3 multi-colored, handmade glass fish
2 handmade red polka dotted crabs
4 hand-blown glass bubbles (one of the crabs is on the bottom)
4 smooth rounded black/grey stones
1/2 pound decorative marbles in iridescent clear and peach
Extra clear single strand nylon

How does the nylon strands get attached at the top? These are so beautiful :)

Hi Kefra! Thank you! I love these little guys! The nylon thread is tied to the glass balloon that floats on the surface of the water. There's actually a small glass hole/loop where you thread the nylon through. Then, tie a couple knots and you're good to go! Take a look at picture 7. I tried to include a photo large enough to show how they attached, but please let me know if its not clear enough. I'm more than happy to provide more photos. :)

Cool! I was just making some of these a couple days ago! I set up my 80 gallon tank a few weeks ago but have yet ta go fish shopping so I figured I'd just make a few in the glass blowing studio, of course I ended up making the fish, a bunch of coral and clam shells, plants, a eel, and a sea horse!..... no crabs but that's a great idea, I'm gonna have ta make a couple of those little guys too I think. ;-) awesome auction!
